It is being claimed that this man is a Hindu who molested a Muslim woman. However, fact check website Boom has found this claim to be false in its investigation. On the social media platform X, a user named Kainaat tweeted the viral video and wrote – As soon as the burqa was seen, the Asaram DNA of the hateful blind devotee woke up. According to a report published on ABP News on 26 February 2025, this incident took place in the Beconganj area of Kanpur. See screenshot: ABP had reported in its report that a man was touching women inappropriately in the crowded market. Meanwhile, a Muslim woman beat up this man. The video related to this entire incident went viral on social media, taking cognizance of which the police took action. The report quoted Assistant Police Commissioner Abhishek Kumar Rahul as saying that the name of the youth caught is Adnan. Adnan is mentally ill. If a written complaint is made by the victim, legal action will be taken in the matter. A tweet was also made on this entire incident from the official X handle of Kanpur Police.
