The Taliban celebrated on Wednesday the completion of 3 years of rule in Afghanistan. During this, they took out the biggest military parade ever. It showed tanks and artillery of the Soviet era. The parade started from the US base in Bagram, Afghanistan. This place is about 40 km from the capital Kabul. Actually, before the arrival of the Taliban, Bagram was a US military base. Here the US had also arrested many Talibanis. Diplomats from China and Iran were present in the parade held on Wednesday. During this, the weapons and military vehicles that the US had left there were also shown. Taliban fighters marched past in military uniforms
All military vehicles had the black and white flag of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. It is a symbol of Taliban rule in the country. Apart from this, military helicopters and fighter jets were also seen flying over the Bagram base. Taliban fighters were seen marching past wearing soldier’s uniforms with machine guns in their hands. At the same time, Taliban fighters also took out a convoy carrying the Taliban flag on motorcycles. Afghanistan Prime Minister Mohammad Hassan Akhund congratulated officials for the Taliban’s victory over Western occupation. Akhund said, “It is the duty of the Taliban government to maintain Islamic rule, protect the lives and property of the people and continue to work for the honor of the country.” At the same time, Afghan children were also seen waving the Taliban flag in the Green Zone, which was once a stronghold of foreign embassies. 14 lakh girls did not get secondary education under Taliban rule
Many restrictions have been imposed on women and girls since the Taliban rule came to Afghanistan. Since 2021, about 14 lakh girls have not been able to get secondary education in Afghanistan. According to UNESCO data, the number of girls has been recorded 11 lakh less than boys for primary education. Apart from this, the Taliban has also banned adult girls from going to the mosque. According to the Taliban law, any woman found guilty of adultery (having a relationship with a man other than her husband) will be stoned to death. Boards with pictures of women cannot be put up outside shops in Afghanistan. There is also a ban on women traveling alone and giving them driving licenses. It is mandatory for women to wear hijab. The Taliban captured the whole of Afghanistan along with Kabul on 15 August 2021. So far, no country, including the US and India, has recognized the Taliban as the government of Afghanistan. Afghanistan has been constantly demanding recognition from the world. Taliban’s acting Defense Minister Mullah Mohammad Yakub Mujahid said in an interview that the government has fulfilled all the requirements to get recognition. Despite this, other countries are not recognizing us under pressure from America.
