12 industrial smart cities including Jodhpur-Agra will be built in the country: Scheme of 28 thousand crores approved in 10 states, 40 lakh jobs will be created

12 industrial smart cities will be developed in 9 states of the country. Apart from this, 6 corridors will be built in 10 states. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, headed by PM Narendra Modi, approved it on Wednesday, 28 August. Under the 12 Industrial Smart City project, 10 lakh people are expected to get direct employment and 30 lakh people are likely to get indirect employment. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the total cost of the project will be Rs 28,602 crore. There will be an investment potential of Rs 1.52 lakh crore. These industrial smart cities can be built under the National Industry Development Corridor Program (NIDCP). 3 infra projects of railways also approved

– Jamshedpur Purulia Asansol (Third Line – 121 km)

– 37 km long new double line from Sardega of Sundargarh district to Bhalumuda of Raigarh district

– 138 km long new line from Bargarh Road to Navapara (Odisha)

Approval of private FM radio in 234 cities

The cabinet approved the launch of private FM radio in 234 cities or towns of the country. This service was not available in these cities till now. Modi held the first cabinet meeting on June 10. After taking oath as Prime Minister for the third time on June 9, the PM held the first meeting of the Council of Ministers on the very next day, June 10. In this, approval was given to build three crore new houses for the poor. Under this scheme, a total of 4.21 crore houses have already been built in the last 10 years. Under the scheme, financial assistance is given by the central and state government for building houses. PM Modi also signed the file of Samman Nidhi. Under the Center’s Kisan Kalyan Yojana, 9.3 crore farmers of the country are given financial assistance of Rs 6 thousand annually. This is called Kisan Samman Nidhi. According to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban 2.0 scheme, families belonging to EWS / LIG / Middle Income Group (MIG) segment who do not have any pucca house anywhere in the country are eligible to buy or construct a house under PMAY-U 2.0. EWS are families with an annual income of up to Rs 3 lakh. LIG are those families whose annual income is between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 6 lakh.
