Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the third ‘Kautilya Economic Conference’ today (October 4). During this, the PM will also address the people present there. This is the third edition of the Kautilya Conclave. About 150 national and international academics and policy makers from around the world will also participate in the program. The conclave will start today at 6:30 pm at the Taj Palace Hotel New Delhi, which will run till October 6. During this, some of the most important issues facing the Indian economy and the economies of the Global South will be discussed. Apart from financing the green transition, many issues will be discussed. The themes of this year’s conclave are ‘Financing the Green Transition, Geoeconomic Fragmentation and Implication for Growth, Principles for Policy Action to Preserve Resilience Among Others’. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar will also attend The program is organized by the Institute of Economic Development in partnership with the Ministry of Finance of the Government of India. Apart from the PM, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar, Bhutan’s Finance Minister Lyonpo Leke Dorji will also attend the event.
