Masood and Shafiq score centuries in Multan Test: Babar out after scoring 30 runs, Atkinson takes 2 wickets; Pakistan 328/4 on the first day

The first match of the Test series is being played between Pakistan and England in Multan. On the first day, Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat and scored 328 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Captain Shan Masood scored 151 and Abdullah Shafiq scored 102 runs from the team. By the end of the day’s play, Saud Shakeel and night watchman Naseem Shah returned not out from Pakistan. Sam Ayub was out after scoring 4 and Babar Azam 30 runs. Gus Atkinson took 2 wickets from England. The second day’s play will start tomorrow morning at 10 am Indian time. Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat at the Multan Cricket Stadium. The team lost the wicket of opener Sam Ayub in the fourth over itself, Ayub could score only 4 runs.
