India will launch 52 spy satellites in the next 5 years. The purpose of these satellites will be to keep an eye on the activities of neighboring countries China and Pakistan. According to the report, the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by PM Narendra Modi has approved the third phase of the Space Based Surveillance (SBS-3) program on October 7. All these satellites will be Artificial Intelligence (AI) based. They will be able to communicate with each other at a height of 36 thousand km.
