A video is being shared on social media with a communal twist. In the video, a huge crowd of people is seen waving saffron flags in front of a mosque. At the same time, objectionable slogans given by the crowd for Pakistan can be heard in the video. It is being claimed that this video is from Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Where people of the Muslim community raised slogans of Pakistan Zindabad from the mosque. The next day, Hindus surrounded the same mosque and protested. This video was shared by many verified and non-verified users on X. The video shared by The Hindu Sena has been viewed by more than 6 lakh people so far. At the same time, more than 35 thousand likes and more than 10 thousand people have retweeted it. Truth of the viral video… To know the truth of the viral video, we reverse searched the key frames of the video on Yandex. In the search result, we found this video on a YouTube channel. On listening carefully to the entire video present on the channel, we did not hear any slogan anywhere, which is heard in the viral video. The title of the video says – Ram Navami Utsav, Kalaburagi 2019. This video was published on the channel on 30 July 2019. In the next phase of investigation, we searched keywords related to the mosque of Kalaburagi on Google. In the search result, we found that the mosque seen in the viral video is Bargah-e-Qadri Chaman. Which is located in Kalaburagi city of Karnataka. It is clear that the claim being made with the viral video on social media is completely false. At the same time, no objectionable slogans can be heard in the real video present on the YouTube channel, which have been edited and added in the viral video. Join us against fake news.
