PM distributed joining letters to 51 thousand people: Said- you are servants, not rulers, serve the poor and backward, you will build a developed India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed joining letters to 51 thousand youth in employment fairs organized at 40 places in the country. This is the first employment fair of Prime Minister Modi’s third term after the Lok Sabha elections. The fair started in October 2022. So far, more than 8.50 lakh youth have been given jobs in 13 fairs. Earlier, the last employment fair was organized on 12 February 2024, in which joining letters were distributed to more than 1 lakh people. During this, PM Modi told the youth who received job letters that you are servants of the public, not rulers. Therefore, you serve the poor and backward. In the next 25 years, you will create a developed India. We launched a scheme to bring new technology and new foreign investment to the country. Make in India campaign and PLI scheme together have increased the pace of employment generation manifold. Industries of every sector are getting a boost. New opportunities are being created for the youth. PM mentioned the schemes, 3 appeals to the employed youth 1. Serve the citizens: Whichever path you are on, your goal should be to provide maximum convenience to the citizens. Taxpayers and citizens have an important role in you getting a government job. We are here because of our citizens. We have got a life to serve them.

There is a culture of jobs without slips and expenses, we have to reduce the troubles in the lives of citizens. No matter which post you hold, our job is to serve the countrymen. We have to serve the poorest of the poor. 2. Be humble, keep learning: You are going to start a new journey in your personal life as well. I urge you to always remain humble. We are servants, not rulers. Do not give up the habit of learning something new in this journey. Learn something new continuously.

The government provides many courses for government employees. Take advantage of the digital training module. I am confident that a developed India will be created with your efforts. You will say proudly that this will happen due to your hard work. You have got an opportunity, not employment. You should ride on this opportunity, show your strength, fulfill your dreams. 3. Hard work for a developed India: You have taken a pledge of a developed India. We have to perform better in every sector. This is not possible without you youngsters. You not only have to do good work, but you have to do the best. There should be such government employees in the country, whose example is given all over the world.
The country has expectations from us, these expectations are our trust. They help us in progress. It is our responsibility to live up to them. We should work together to build a bright future and a ‘developed India’. PM told the youth – This Diwali is very special

The Prime Minister started the first phase of the employment fair on 22 October 2022. Then the PM had said – Our goal was to provide 10 lakh government jobs to the youth of the country by the end of 2023. By November 2023, more than 7 lakh youth were given joining letters in a total of 11 employment fairs. However, before the Lok Sabha elections, the 12th employment fair was held on 12 February 2024, in which more than 1 lakh job letters were distributed. …………………………..
