Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Wednesday that CAG has found a lot of irregularities in the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Under the Delhi government’s scheme, every person in Delhi gets free treatment. Be it a pill worth five rupees or treatment worth crores, it is completely free. PM should implement Delhi’s scheme across the country. Kejriwal said that if PM says, I will send him the names of lakhs of people who have benefited from it. Actually, PM Modi on Tuesday expanded the Ayushman Bharat scheme and launched the facility of free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh for people above 70 years of age. During this, PM had said that he regrets that Delhi and Bengal are not included in this scheme, because the governments of both the states did not approve it. On the other hand, BJP has filed a writ petition in the High Court against the AAP government’s decision not to implement Ayushman in Delhi. Delhi BJP President gave this information on Wednesday.
