In Badaun, a high speed Max (pickup) hit an auto. 6 people travelling in the auto died in the accident. This includes husband-wife and son-daughter, i.e. 4 people of a family. All were going to their home from Noida to Bareilly to celebrate Diwali. The collision was so severe that the bodies were scattered several feet away on the road. The police sent the bodies for postmortem. The accident took place on Thursday morning around 7 am near Muzaria village on Delhi Highway. DM Nidhi Srivastava said – 6 people have died in the accident. While 5 are injured. There was a lot of screaming after the accident. People travelling in the auto jumped and fell on the road. Someone’s head was broken and someone’s hand was cut. After a while the police arrived with an ambulance. The injured were sent to the district hospital. 6 people died on the spot. Among the dead, 4 people are from the same family of Bareilly. They have been identified as Kanhai, wife Kusum, son Kartik and daughter Sheenu. While one of the deceased was a resident of Mirzapur. An injured said- We used to work in Noida. Everyone was returning home from there by booking an auto to celebrate Diwali. The auto reached near Muzaria village at around 7 in the morning. The whole family of Kanhai, who lived in Bhamora area of ??Bareilly, perished in the accident. Kanhai used to work as a laborer living with his family in Sonipat, Haryana. From there, he first came to Delhi to celebrate Diwali. After this, when he did not get a bus due to the crowd, he took an auto from Noida to Badaun.
