This was revealed by the actress’s mother Madhu Chopra herself. She says that when daughter Priyanka made her debut in Bollywood, she came to know about the dark truth of the industry. In a conversation with Breaking Stereotypes, Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra talked about the early days of the actress’s career. She said, ‘The film industry was very new to us. We had a lot of hopes in our eyes. I did not feel that this was a bad or difficult place, because no negative things had come to our mind. When we really went inside the industry, we came to know about its dirt, which caused some pain in the beginning. Madhu Chopra said, ‘We were scared to see all this. However, despite so many difficulties, Priyanka did not give up. Also reduced our fear. I remember one day Priyanka made us sit and said that mother, you know me best, so don’t pay attention to all these useless things. Then slowly everything became fine. Talking about the work front, Priyanka was seen in ‘Citadel’ in 2023. She is now preparing for the action-comedy movie ‘Heads of State’. Apart from this, she is also working on ‘Citadel 2’.
