Sensex closed at 79,802, up 759 points: Nifty also rose 216 points, BSE Smallcap gained 417 points

On the last trading day of the week today, i.e. 29 November, the Sensex closed at 79,802 with a gain of 759 points (0.96%). Nifty gained 216 points (0.91%), closing at 24,131. At the same time, BSE Smallcap closed at 55,199, up 417 points (0.76%). Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 26 rose and 4 fell. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 43 rose and 7 fell. Earlier yesterday, i.e. on 28 November, the Sensex closed at 79,043 with a decline of 1190 points (1.48%). Nifty also fell by 360 points (1.49%), it closed at 23,914. At the same time, BSE Smallcap rose 221 points (0.41%) and closed at 54,782. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 29 fell and only 1 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 46 fell and 4 rose. NSE’s IT sector closed with the maximum decline of 2.39%.
