Sensex closed at 80,956 today i.e. 4 December with a gain of 110 points. Nifty also gained 10 points, it closed at the level of 24,467. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 15 saw a decline and 15 saw a rise. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 30 saw a decline and 20 saw a rise. In the sectoral index of NSE, PSU banking and realty saw a rise of more than 2%. HDFC Life was the top gainer of Nifty with a gain of 2.59%. Airtel was the top loser with a decline of 2.33%.
