Fake News Exposed: Pankaj Tripathi’s edited video goes viral, actor seen appealing not to vote for BJP; know the truth

A video of actor Pankaj Tripathi’s advertisement is going viral on social media. In the advertisement video, Pankaj Tripathi is seen playing the role of a person selling peanuts. In the video, it can be seen that a message comes on his phone, on receiving the message, Pankaj says that we sell peanuts, not our intelligence.

Pankaj further says – Look at this message, BJP people have sent it, they are saying vote for them, we will do development. Don’t we know, here we will vote for them – there the government money will disappear. I am a peanut seller, I am not a fool. If BJP people tempt you, then say that I am not a fool. Truth of viral video… To know the truth of the viral video, we reverse searched its key frame. On searching, we found its original video on a YouTube channel named UPI Chalega. The title of the video on the channel reads – Peanutswala, Fake Lottery Link, UPI Security Awareness. At the same time, in the video, actor Pankaj Tripathi can be heard saying – We sell peanuts, not our intelligence. Look at this message, they say that you have won a lottery, click on the link and enter the UPI pin and you will get money. Don’t I know, here I enter the UPI pin, there the money is gone. I am a peanut seller, not a fool. Remember UPI says that if someone tempts you, then say that I am not a fool. At the same time, this advertisement video was uploaded on the channel 2 months ago i.e. on 23 September 2024. It is clear that the video of actor Pankaj Tripathi going viral on social media is edited. The real video has been made for UPI customer awareness, which is being edited and shared with a false claim. Join us against fake news.
