Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has ordered an investigation into the Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) Mahila Samman Yojana. LG’s Principal Secretary has written a letter to Delhi’s Chief Secretary and Police Commissioner. Through a letter sent on December 27, officers have been told that private information of Delhi’s people is being collected by non-governmental people. Get it investigated and take action as per law. Former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on December 12 announced to give Rs 1000 to women above 18 years of age in Delhi and increase it to Rs 2100 per month after winning the election. Apart from this, LG has also ordered an investigation into the allegations of cash transfer from Punjab. LG has said that the Police Commissioner should check vehicles at the border and the Chief Secretary should inform the Election Commission about it. LG has also ordered an investigation into the allegations of the presence of Punjab government’s intelligence personnel at the homes of Congress’ potential candidates. He has sought a report from the Police Commissioner in 3 days. It has been named Mahila Samman Yojana. Every woman who has completed 18 years of age will come under the purview of this scheme. After the advertisement against the scheme came out in newspapers, AAP held a press conference on 25 December. CM Atishi and Kejriwal participated in it. AAP convenor Kejriwal held Delhi LG responsible for this. Atishi said that the officers are under pressure from BJP. Congress leader Sandeep Dixit complained to LG about the scheme on 26 December. He said that AAP workers are collecting phone numbers and addresses of women by making them fill forms for a scheme which does not actually exist. If this is a case of fraud, then it should be investigated and a case should be registered against the two people who carried out this fraud, Atishi and Kejriwal. The current term of the Delhi Assembly ends on 23 February 2025. Elections may be held in the next two months. Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday announced Sanjeevani Yojana for the elderly. Before the Delhi Assembly elections, Kejriwal announced that elderly people above 60 years of age will get free treatment. Kejriwal made it clear that this treatment will be free for all elderly people, irrespective of the category they fall into. 10 December: 4 announcements for auto drivers Kejriwal made 4 announcements for auto drivers on 10 December. He said that 1 lakh rupees will be given for the marriage of the daughter of an auto driver. 2500 rupees each will be given for making uniforms on Holi and Diwali. Life insurance of 10 lakh rupees and accidental insurance of 5 lakh rupees will also be provided. Along with this, money will be given for coaching of the children of auto drivers. 21 November: Announcement of pension up to ?2500 per month to 5 lakh people Kejriwal announced to restart the pension scheme for the elderly on 21 November. 80 thousand new elderly people have been added to the scheme. Earlier 4.50 lakh people used to get the benefit of this scheme. Now more than five lakh elderly people will come under the purview of this scheme. Elderly people between 60 and 69 years will be given Rs 2000 every month. Elderly people above 70 years will get Rs 2500 per month. Announcing the scheme, former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal said that he came out of jail with the blessings of the elders. This scheme is to thank them.
