Hezbollah commander had four girlfriends, married all of them over the phone: Mossad was tracing the personal life of Fuad Shukar; he was killed in an Israeli attack

On July 30, the Israeli army killed Hezbollah’s top commander Fuad Shukar in an airstrike. He was then with his wife and children in an apartment in Beirut. Shukar was considered the right hand of Hezbollah chief Nasrallah and was the first big leader of the organization to be killed by Israel this year. The New York Times report has revealed that Shukar was under surveillance for a long time before he was targeted. That’s when his 4 girlfriends were discovered. He later married them over the phone. Fuad Shukar was the mastermind of the 1983 Beirut bombing. More than 300 Americans and French people were killed in this. The US had placed a bounty of 5 million dollars (Rs 42 crore) on him. He got married because of feeling guilty. Fuad Shukar was one of the founding members of Hezbollah. Israeli intelligence agency Mossad was trying to find his whereabouts for many years. During this time, Mossad came to know that Fuad Shukar had relations with four women even after marriage. He started feeling guilty about having relations with these women. After this, Fuad sought help from Hezbollah’s religious leader Hashim Safiuddin. Safiuddin advised him to marry those four women. After this, Safiuddin got Fuad Shukar married to all four women over the phone. There is no information about when this marriage took place and where Shukar lived during this time. Hashim Safiuddin, who got Fuad Shukar married, was also killed in an Israeli strike in October 2024. Safiuddin was going to become the chief of Hezbollah after Nasrallah’s death. He lost his life due to a phone call
20 days after Fuad’s death, it was known that he lost his life due to a phone call. In its report, American newspaper Wall Street Journal, citing a Hezbollah official, claimed that after receiving a phone call, Fuad left his office and went to the seventh floor of the same building, after which the attack took place there. According to the report, Fuad Shukr was in his office on the second floor of a residential building in Beirut. He received a phone call at around 7 pm on 30 July. He was asked to go to his apartment on the seventh floor and then after a few minutes he was killed in an attack. Along with Shukr, his wife, two other women and two children also died in the attack. Apart from this, about 70 people were also injured. According to the report, this call was from someone who had a good penetration in the internal network of Hezbollah. That is why after listening to the phone, Shukr went to his apartment.
