Today i.e. on Thursday (27 February), the Sensex closed at 74,612 with a gain of 10 points. Nifty closed at 22,545, down 2 points. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 13 declined and 16 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 31 declined and 19 rose. The media sector of the NSE sectoral index fell the most by 3.58% and the auto sector by 1.51%. While the Nifty Bank, Metal and Financial Services index fell by up to 1%. Mixed trading in the global market, Sensex rose on Tuesday, Nifty fell Yesterday i.e. on 26 February, the stock market was closed on the occasion of Mahashivratri. Earlier on the second trading day i.e. Tuesday (25 February), the Sensex closed at 74,602 with a gain of 147 points. At the same time, Nifty closed at 22,547, down 5 points. Out of the 30 Sensex stocks, 16 rose and 14 fell. Out of the 50 Nifty stocks, 19 rose and 31 fell. Nifty Metal fell by 1.54%, PSU i.e. government banks index fell by 1.22% and Nifty Realty fell by 1.31%. Media, consumer durables and realty rose marginally. ??????
