Bollywood actress Nusrat Bharucha is in the news these days for her new film ‘Chhori 2’. But she also has a regret in her heart. Recently, in a podcast interview, she told that actors who come from film families get more opportunities. Whereas outsiders have to work very hard on their own. In a conversation with YouTube podcast host Shubhankar Mishra, she said, ‘They definitely get an advantage, because they understand the industry and they know people. If they don’t know, then their parents know someone. Because of this, they reach those places where I cannot reach. They can knock on those doors, which I don’t even know about. If I want to meet a producer or director, then who will give me their number? Whom should I ask? ‘ The actress also said about star kids like Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor, ‘I don’t want to call them ‘nepo kids’, because I don’t like this word. I think everyone has their own struggle, their own pressure. Yes, they have some ways which I don’t have, but it’s okay.’ During the conversation, she also told how she herself messaged many people and asked for work. ‘I was trying to reach out to a lot of people. One day Kabir Khan replied and called me to meet.’ Nusrat further took some names who stood by her in her journey. She said, ‘Directors like Luv Ranjan, Hansal Mehta and Vishal Furia want to work with me. I am very attached to them. These people seem like family to me.’ Currently, the actress is seen in Vishal Furia’s ‘Chhori 2’, which has been released on OTT. Saurabh Goyal, Soha Ali Khan, Kuldeep Sareen and Pallavi Ajay have also appeared in the film along with Nusrat.
