The police have arrested an accused in the case of embezzling Rs 5 crore 51 lakh 38 thousand 978 from a chicken supplier in Jind. A wholesale trader from Delhi had lodged a complaint against 16 people in this case with the Narwana Sadar police station. In the police investigation, the name of Musa Qureshi, a resident of Sadar Bazar Delhi, came to the fore, who was arrested by the police. Rakesh Malik, a resident of Nagaloi Delhi, in a complaint given to the Narwana City Police Station on 9 May 2023, had told that he buys chickens from poultry farmers and sells them to wholesale traders in the Delhi market on commission. For this, an office has been opened near the new bus stand of Narwana. Initially, the payment was made on time, after that they started stopping. In the year 2021, 16 wholesale traders of the chicken market in Delhi came in contact with him. Initially, the accused kept paying properly after taking the goods, when they gained trust, the accused started stopping the payment little by little. Whenever he would pressurize for money, they would make some payment, but when the amount reached lakhs, now the accused are refusing to give money. The accused also gave cheques for the outstanding amount, but those accounts were found closed. He told that Musa Qureshi, resident of Sadar Bazar Delhi did not make payment of 55 lakh 78 thousand 763 rupees, Islam, resident of Swaroop Nagar Delhi did not make payment of 15 lakh 58 thousand 414 rupees, Mohammad Arshad, resident of Purana Bazar Hapur Uttar Pradesh did not make payment of four lakh rupees. Police had registered a case against 16 traders, Altamas, resident of Qureshi Nagar Idgah Delhi did not make payment of 74 lakh 99 thousand 176 rupees, Rakesh Malik, resident of Prem Nagar Delhi did not make payment of 26 lakh 60 thousand rupees, Amit, resident of Railway Colony Jind did not make payment of 11 lakh 36 thousand 496 rupees, Mohammad Qadir, resident of North Delhi did not make payment of 15 lakh rupees, Sandeep, resident of Rajiv Nagar Delhi took away chickens worth 47 lakh 93 thousand 193 rupees and usurped his payment. Apart from this, Mohammad Qayoom, Atiq Ahmed, Khaliq Ahmed, Jogendra Kumar, Surjeet, Rajat, Pradeep Maan, Akshay and others have cheated him of lakhs of rupees. The police had registered a case of fraud. During the police investigation, the name of Musa Qureshi, resident of Sadar Bazar Delhi, came up and the accused was arrested.
