He claims to give the product sold in America for Rs 1 lakh for Rs 5 thousand. Another user Huang Xi also talks about selling products of brands like Chanel and Birkenstock at a very low price. Currently, under the De Minimis Exemption policy, there is no custom duty on parcels less than Rs 60,000 in the US. Through this loophole, shopping platforms like Temu and Ali Express are reaching Americans directly. Apart from this, factories are also selling products directly through TikTok and other social media. However, now the Trump administration is planning to end this exemption. Factories giving social media training to employees Factories in places like Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Yiwu in China are now giving social media training to employees. Apart from this, they are giving live product demos to consumers. Companies are making their staff TikTok influencers. This strategy is called the factory to consumer model.
