Movie Review- Ground Zero: A film that introduces the saga of bravery of Border Security Force soldiers, Emraan Hashmi played the character with passion, screenplay is a bit weak

Emraan Hashmi’s film ‘Ground Zero’ has been released in theaters today. This is a serious and effective film based on the biggest mission of BSF till date. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, this film stars Emraan Hashmi as well as Sai Tamhankar, Zoya Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, Deepak Parmesh, Lalit Prabhakar, Rocky Raina and Rahul Vohra in important roles. The length of this film is 2 hours 14 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given this film a rating of 3 stars out of 5. What is the story of the film? The story of the film is of BSF officer Narendra Nath Dhar Dubey (NND Dubey), who led the mission to kill Rana Tahir Nadeem alias Ghazi Baba, the mastermind of the 2001 Parliament attack. This secret operation carried out in 2003 is considered the biggest success in the history of BSF. The film shows how Dubey and his team carried out this mission with prudence and courage. This film walks a fine line between patriotism and realism. How is the acting of the star cast? Emraan Hashmi has played the character of NND Dubey with full intensity. His eyes and voice reflect the depth that the character demanded. Emraan brings life to emotional and intense scenes. Sai Tamhankar has also made an impact in her limited screen time. Among the rest of the actors, Zoya Hussain, Mukesh Tiwari, Deepak Parmesh, Lalit Prabhakar, Rocky Raina and Rahul Vohra have done justice to their characters. How is the direction of the film? Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar’s direction has a realistic approach. There is neither unnecessary patriotic dialogue in the film nor has anyone been presented as a superhero. An attempt has been made to show the real struggle and reality of BSF soldiers. The first half of the film is quite gripping, but the pace slows down a bit after the interval. The climax again takes charge of the film. The screenplay lacks some tightness, some scenes could have been shortened. How is the music of the film? Audiences always expect great songs from Emraan Hashmi’s films, but ‘Ground Zero’ is a film of a different genre. There was no scope for songs here. Some songs play in the background of the film, but they too fail to leave an impact. The background music is also average, which is unable to lift the scene completely. Final verdict of the film, should you watch it or not If you want to see the story of those true soldiers of the country, whose names do not often come in the headlines, but because of whom we sleep peacefully, then definitely watch this film. ‘Ground Zero’ presents the valor and spirit of the BSF in a different and real way, which is worth watching.
