Javed Akhtar lashed out at Pakistan over terrorist attacks: Said- Pakistan repeatedly shrugs off the attacks, then where do these terrorists come from?

After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, there is an atmosphere of anger in the country. Many prominent personalities of Bollywood have expressed their displeasure over this attack. Meanwhile, during a program in Delhi, famous lyricist and writer Javed Akhtar strongly condemned the repeated incidents of such attacks and demanded strict action from the Indian government. Javed Akhtar attended a FICCI program in Delhi. During this, when he was questioned about the Pahalgam attack, he reacted strongly to Pakistan’s repeated denial of such attacks. Javed Akhtar said, ‘Where do the terrorists come from? They do not come from Germany. We are connected to their borders and this thing cannot be ignored. The Pahalgam incident should be a turning point. When such incidents happen repeatedly, then tension is natural. Almost every few days or every year, some such tragic incident comes to light.’ Javed Akhtar said that no matter which party is in power in India, whether it is Congress or BJP, everyone’s intention has always been to establish peace. Giving the example of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he said that Vajpayee ji himself went to Pakistan and extended the hand of friendship, but what did Pakistan do in return? They washed the same land where our Prime Minister had set foot. Is this called friendship? Taking his point further, Javed Akhtar said that how is dialogue possible with Pakistan when it refused to take the bodies of its own soldiers during the Kargil war. He also said that even today 99 percent of the people of Jammu and Kashmir are loyal to India. Referring to the recent attack on Kashmiri shawl sellers in Mussoorie, Akhtar expressed concern over this incident. He said that when Kashmiri citizens are targeted in different parts of India, it is not only condemnable, but by doing so you are inadvertently giving strength to the false propaganda of Pakistan. Javed Akhtar agrees with the ban on Pakistani artists Javed Akhtar recently said clearly on the ban imposed on Pakistani artists that after whatever has happened at present, this question should not be asked whether it is right to ban them or not. Because now the friendly feeling for Pakistan has completely ended. Along with this, he has said that giving Pakistani artists a chance to work in India is completely one-sided because till date not even a single performance of Lata Mangeshkar has been allowed to take place in Pakistan. He has completely refuted this one-sided way of working. Read the full news..
