Officer’s plot sold fraudulently in Sonipat: Registry done by showing mother who died 4 years ago as alive; 8 people including father trapped

A shocking case has come to light in Ganaur police station area of Sonipat. A fake registration of a plot was done in the name of a woman who had died 4 years ago. In this case, an officer working in Niti Ayog (son of the deceased woman) has accused eight people including his father of fraud. The police have registered a case and started investigation. The woman died in December 2008. According to the information, Ankit Yadav, Assistant Section Officer in Niti Ayog, told in the complaint given in Ganaur police station that he is a resident of Nangloi Delhi. We are two brothers, of which he is the elder and the younger brother Sachin (33 years) does a private job. He told that his mother Hemlata Yadav died on 4 December 2008 in Rockland Hospital, Qutub Institutional Area, New Delhi. At that time their residence was Najafgarh Road, Nangloi Delhi. It was found out a year ago that the plot was in someone else’s name. Ankit told that his mother had a plot of 250 square yards in village Garhi Kesari. It is situated at Khewat No.-74, Khata/Khatauni-99, Tehsil Ganaur, Intakal No. 3920, District Sonipat. Around a year ago he came to know that this plot has been registered in the name of some Kamala Devi. Sons and husband were to get the rights. Upon investigation he found out that registry no. 3849 of plot was done on 17 October 2012, while his mother had died around 4 years ago. As per the rules, after his mother’s death her property should have been transferred in my name, my brother Sachin and father Dharambir. He said – suspicion of fraud on father. He told that he suspects that his father Dharambir Yadav in connivance with Kamala Devi and other people has fraudulently got the plot registered by making some other woman his mother. He told that in this case, besides Dharambir Yadav (husband of the deceased), Kamla Devi (buyer) resident Deep Nagar, Ganaur Vedprakash, Ramprasad Kaushik resident Hari Nagar, Ganaur, Shakuntala Nambardarni Garhi Kesari, Ganaur, Bijendra Ganaur, Krishna Ganaur and Satbir alias Jagan Ganaur are involved. Case registered in Ganaur police station According to the police, during the investigation, notices were sent to Dharambir Yadav on 6 March and 11 April 2025, but he did not join the investigation. Statements of other accused were recorded. After investigation, a case has been registered in Ganaur police station under sections 420, 467, 468 and 120-B IPC. Police is investigating the matter further.
