Modi said- caste census will bring people into the mainstream: Told BJP-NDA CM-Deputy CM- Operation Sindoor boosted confidence

Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with the CMs and Deputy CMs of 19 BJP-NDA ruled states in Delhi on Sunday. Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, BJP National President JP Nadda were also present in it. PTI quoted sources as saying- In the meeting, PM Modi said that the caste census is a step towards the model of his government, under which he will bring the marginalized people and the backward people in every field into the mainstream of development. The PM also said that the success of Operation Sindoor confirms that the country has achieved many achievements in the direction of self-reliance. Indigenous defense technology shot down Pakistan’s drones and missiles with precision. PM Modi has also asked the BJP-NDA ruled state governments to adopt good governance. Union Minister Nadda said- A proposal regarding Operation Sindoor and Census was passed in the meeting. The outline of programs like completion of one year of Modi 3.0, completion of 10 years of International Yoga Day and completion of 50 years of Emergency in the country was considered. BJP National President and Union Minister JP Nadda said that the first proposal was regarding Operation Sindoor, which was run under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. The work of our army was highly appreciated. This proposal was passed unanimously. Nadda further said that a proposal was also passed regarding caste census. All the leaders agreed to this and congratulated Modi ji while appreciating this decision. JP Nadda further said; – We have made it clear that we do not do caste politics, but our aim is to bring those who are deprived, oppressed and exploited, who have been ignored till now, into the mainstream. On 22 April, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. 26 tourists were killed in this. India carried out air strikes on 9 locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) under Operation Sindoor. After this, till May 10, Pakistan carried out drone attacks on India. There was also heavy shelling on the border. A ceasefire was announced between the two countries on May 10. 59 MPs of the country have been sent to 33 countries to tell the world the purpose of Operation Sindoor and the real face of Pakistan. 59 MPs are divided into 7 all-party teams (delegations). There are also 8 former diplomats with the 7 teams. Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri gave a briefing to the MPs about this initiative on May 20. The Center announced caste census On April 30, the central government announced to conduct caste census in the country. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that it will be conducted along with the main census. All opposition parties including Congress have been demanding caste census. The census can be started in September. It may take 1 year to complete. In such a situation, its final figures will be available in late 2026 or early 2027. The last census in the country was conducted in 2011. It is done every 10 years. Accordingly, the next census was to be held in 2021, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
