The finale of Miss World 2025 will be held in Hyderabad on 31 May. In the finale to be held in India, all the contestants are going to wear traditional woven garments of Telangana, which have been prepared by 723 special artisans. The special thing about these dresses is that they are made of real gold wires, which will have real pearls embedded in them. Miss World’s official designer Archana Kochhar has prepared the finale dresses of all the contestants. In a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar, she has told that these dresses have been made like the royal attire of India. 108 contestants will be present in the grand finale, who will wear a total of 242 dresses. These will reflect Indian cultural heritage, women power. These will not be just dresses, but will be in the form of a cultural document. This is an attempt to present India’s heritage to the world. However, the finale will be held only among the top-40 participants. These include India’s Nandini Gupta. 723 artisans prepared the costumes in a month All the costumes have been prepared by 723 artisans with their own hands in a month. Telangana pattern sarees have been used. The clothes for the finale of the 2024 Miss World event held in Mumbai were Indian-Western mix, which was made from Ahimsa silk of Jharkhand, but this time the costumes have been prepared by combining the handwork of Telangana and the rest of India. They have focused on regional weaving and artistry. According to Archana, all the dresses are eco-friendly. They have been prepared with natural dyes, local fabrics, zero waste pattern drafting, innovative draping styles and handloom techniques. Nandini will wear a couture dress, which will show Indian tradition Archana told that Nandini Gupta, who is representing India in the finale event, will wear a couture dress. It has been prepared keeping in mind power, dignity and tradition. According to Archana, after this event, all the costumes will be displayed at Juhu store and online platform. The earnings from this will be used to help the weavers and women artisans of Telangana and India.
