Sensex closed down 77 points at 81,373: Nifty also fell 34 points, banking and IT stocks fell

The stock market fell today i.e. on June 2. Sensex closed at 81,373, down 77 points. Nifty also fell 34 points. It closed at 24,716. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 19 fell and 11 rose. The share of Schloss Bangalore Limited, the parent company of luxury hotel chain ‘The Leela’, closed at Rs 433.80 on NSE today with a fall of Rs 1.20 (0.28%). Earlier, its share was listed on NSE today at Rs 406, down 6.67%. On the other hand, the share of Leela Hotels was listed on BSE at Rs 406.50 with a discount of 6.55%. Earlier, on the last day of last week, i.e. Friday, 30 May, the stock market had declined as well. The Sensex had closed at 81,451 after falling 182 points. The Nifty also saw a decline of 83 points; it closed at 24,751.
