The body of Pakistani actress Humaira Asgar was found in an apartment in Karachi, Pakistan. The body of the actress was found in a decomposing condition on 8 July. She was living alone in that apartment for a long time. The post-mortem report of the actress has not come yet. Karachi Police has started investigating the case. India Today’s report quoted Pakistan’s DIG (Deputy Inspector General) Syed Asad Raza as saying that he was informed about the incident at around 3 pm on 8 July. Actress Humaira Asgar was living alone in Phase 5 of Karachi’s Ittehad Commercial Area for the last 6-7 years. The neighbors were smelling a strong smell of decay from her apartment. Also, she had not come out for the last few days. After the situation seemed suspicious, the neighbors called the police and informed them about the incident. The police knocked on the door for a long time, but when there was no response from inside, the police broke the door and entered inside. Where they found the rotten body of the actress. The police believes that she had died about 2 weeks ago. The body of the actress has been sent to Karachi’s Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center. Medical center doctor Sumaiya Syed has said that the body has decayed so badly that it may take time to find out the exact cause of death. On the other hand, the forensic team has thoroughly examined the house. Along with this, Karachi Police has appealed to the public and media to avoid any kind of rumors and speculations until the postmortem report comes.
