MLA Gaikwad said on Wednesday- Last night at around 9:30 pm, I ordered food. When I put a bite of dal-rice in my mouth, it felt very dirty. When I ate the second bite, I vomited. I smelled the food and it was rotten. It was stinking. I had earlier also told the canteen people to give fresh food. They give 15-day-old chicken, 20-day-old mutton, 10-day-old eggs, and four-day-old vegetables. Even after explaining so much, they did this. I took the food downstairs and called the manager. Asked- Is the food from your place? He said- Yes, I asked him to smell it and he said- It stinks. I asked other employees and customers to smell it. Everyone said- It is not worth eating. When you don’t understand Hindi, Marathi, English, then it is Shiv Sena style. Complained many times in four years. Complained to the committee chairman and MD also. When a person does not improve, then this is our style. MLA said- I did not beat him seeing Hindi or Marathi
MLA said- Poor quality food was being served there. Employees, officers, everyone from the whole state come there and eat food. It is a government canteen, the quality of food there should be good. I have no regrets about my actions. He said- I am a public representative. When someone does not understand democratic language, then I have to explain in this language. If these people do this again, then I will beat him again. I did not beat him seeing whether he was Marathi or Hindi. Gaikwad has a long association with controversies… 1.
