Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister, Shweta Singh Kriti, recently questioned the suicide theory. She stated that the distance between the bed and the fan in the room where Sushant’s body was found was insufficient for a person of Sushant’s stature to hang himself. She also stated that the marks found on Sushant’s neck were not from a dupatta, as reported. Shweta Singh Kriti was asked on Shubhankar Mishra’s podcast how Sushant died—whether it was suicide or something else. She replied, “How could it be suicide? The distance between the fan and the bed wasn’t sufficient for a person to hang themselves. There was no distance at all. Tell me one more thing: if you were to commit suicide today, you would use a table to tie a dupatta or something else to the fan. There wasn’t a stool. The first thing I asked my sister was where the stool was. Which stool did you use?” Shweta further said, “If you look at the mark (on his neck), it’s not a scarf mark. It wasn’t a cloth mark. It was a mark of something like a thin chain.” Finally, Shweta Singh Kriti said, “Brother, he wasn’t such a person. We come from a Rajput family. We’ve been taught courage since childhood, courage, courage, courage.” During the conversation, Shweta explained that after Sushant’s death, several people contacted her about the matter, including a psychic. Shweta said, “Somehow, Bhai was rising very quickly. I don’t know what the Bollywood industry is like. But the psychic told me that someone brought someone into Bhai’s life who could break him. My sister was told that Sushant wouldn’t survive after March because black magic was being used on him. We come from a very well-educated, scientific family, so we didn’t believe it. We thought this doesn’t happen.” I don’t know if I should say this or not. I don’t want to hurt anyone, nor do I want to blame anyone.’ It should be noted that Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, was recently given a clean chit in the case. The CBI has declared Sushant’s death a suicide. However, his family has challenged the CBI report.
