Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently married in the presence of family and close friends. The couple is hosting a grand reception in Hyderabad on March 4th. In an official announcement letter released on Sunday, Vijay and Rashmika stated that the wedding reception will be an invitation-only event. The celebration has been carefully curated as an exclusive gathering, welcoming members of the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries, as well as a few key guests from the political and administrative circles.
Security tightened due to high-profile guests: Since the reception will be attended by high-profile personalities from the film industry and other fields, the couple has made additional security arrangements after consulting with local authorities. They confirmed that the guest list has been further limited, and entry to the venue will be limited only to guests with valid official invitations, to avoid crowding and maintain order. Vijay and Rashmika expressed their heartfelt gratitude to their fans and supporters for the overwhelming love they received. They said, “Your safety and happiness are of paramount importance to us. The wedding was celebrated in two different traditions. The wedding took place in the morning as per Telugu customs, while in the evening, Rashmika’s wedding was performed according to Kodava traditions. Rashmika wore a red saree and gold jewellery, while Vijay wore an ivory dhoti and a red angavastram.
